New Mass Effect 2 Trailer

New Mass Effect 2 Trailer

The new Mass Effect 2 Trailer starts off on a very serene yet sombre note and you know things in the game are going to go bad pretty quickly. The weapons are beefed up, old friends return for an impossible mission Mass Effect style and you know new enemies are going to be tougher, meaner and generally overall more punishing.

The games lighting is darker to match the new games bleak outlook for the main characters in the game. We now know that the Normandy gets it’s hide kicked big time, maybe the characters on board the Normandy find their way to a nearby planet and it is up to you, Shepard, to bring them all together after putting your own life in jeopardy so that they could escape and then find a way for all of you to get off a dangerous uncharted planet.

But it’s all just speculation which will be dust swept under the carpet when the game finally comes out and gamers queue up to buy what looks to be probably the most anticipated RPG game of 2010 :) For now though, check out the latest Mass Effect 2 Trailer to come from Bioware :)

New Dragon Age Origins Site

New Dragon Age Origins Site

Bioware have also updated their Dragon Age Origins site, it’s a major redesign from the previous which, and am not sure what site came out first with the design, was very similar in format to the Diablo 3 site that we featured earlier. The new site is a much more bloody affair, with vivid blood red splattered across a pristine white canvas of a page and whereas the Blizzard site promises a more video gamesque type of RPG, Bioware have gone for the realism gore angle, as can be seen in their Grey Warden Video on the site (Original URL – http://dragonage.bioware.com/hero_greywardens.html).

Bioware are touting the game on the site as An Epic Tale of Violence, Lust and Betrayal and the 5 Dragon Age Videos (Original URL – http://dragonage.bioware.com/gallery_videos.html) (well, 4 and a parody video :P ) which show a seamless mixture of in game action, cut scenes, art work and bloody carnage are certainly impressive, especially the use of Marilyn Manson’s This is the New Shit Song for the end of the 5th video, which certainly adds to the excitement.

Bioware have held onto the strong pulse of the RPG community since it’s Baldur’s Gate games and it has never shown fear to evolve and listen to the gamers it prides itself on serving and has been rewarded as such by becoming a powerful influence in the gaming industry, respected by gamers and other studios alike.

New Mass Effect 2 Site Reveals More Details

New Mass Effect 2 Site Reveals More Details

Bioware has updated the look of their Mass Effect Site, it now primarily concentrates on the much anticipated sequel to the 2007 hit RPG game Mass Effect. Bioware has previously promised a darker themed sequel and the background sound to the new Mass Effect 2 site reflects that in it’s somewhat forlorn ambient sound, slightly musical with the sound of a destructive wake that has recently swept the field.

There’s some good tidbits of information you can read about, I was thoroughly gripped with a new semi sentient race the Vorcha, a short lived, fast healing, highly adaptable killing machine and scavenger often used by Krogan Mercs that want to not just kill their enemy but rip them to shreds in the process, they certainly look like a challenge and as they mentioned in their E3 promotional video they’ve done much more work on the detail of every creature you will see in the new game.

Cerberus it seems is going to be taking a much larger role in Mass Effect 2, you may even have almost missed them in the first game if you skipped the majority of side missions and of course, what we were all hoping is that Commander Shepard is to make a return for the sequel and even makes a prominent feature on the new site!

Bioware are also releasing Limited Edition Collectibles such as a Statuette of Commander Shepard and a Lithograph depicting the capital city of Illium on the Asari home world of Thessia. There’s also the 2 existing novels and an iPhone game which are set in the Mass Effect Universe and of course you are able to pre-order the game itself should you wish to :)

Reaver Fan Fic Story at NightSister.com

Reaver Fan Fic Story at NightSister.com

A friend of mine LOVES Fable and Fable 2, in fact, she hadn’t owned Fable 2 long before she finished it, twice. An avid writer, she loves Fable so much that it spurred her on to create a site where she could put her stories out to the internet for others to enjoy, not just friends. And her first fan fic to be added? One concerning the enigmatic and amoral loveable pirate prince, Reaver, from Fable 2.

“See that there?” he said, quite obviously bored, not moving to reach for the dratted thing. “See that little objet d’art?” The man looked at him, blankly, and he had to force himself not to rub his temples in irritation. Reaver was anything but a patient man and this cretin was far beyond the calibre of those he normally sent on this errand. Still… beggars can’t be choosers, and he didn’t have the time to wait for another Sparrow to come along. Bad seas and high winds had delayed his return to Samarkand, turning what might have been a leisurely search for an ideal candidate into a matter of poking his head out of the port-side window and hailing the first idle rogue that walked past.

The story is called Shattered Darkness and is a Fan Fic about Reaver’s journey to the light and it reads very well indeed. Some writers write to inflate their ego’s or show off their wonderful vocabulary and others just have a story to tell, a story so good that it’s best not just forgotten in the back of a bedroom closet.

It’s a great story, there’s currently 2 chapters and I can’t wait for more, as I was reading I was chatting and as I read my windows would flash incessantly, every time it was a case of, I’ll just read to the next paragraph and get back to my friends and at the end of each paragraph I was hit by a stumbleupon like sickness, just one more!

If you like Fan Fics and love Reaver, check out Night Sister, I’ll be bugging her constantly to add more of the story every time I see her online :)

Fable 2 – See The Future Review ***WARNING SPOILERS***

Fable 2 – See The Future Review ***WARNING SPOILERS***

When I first started playing this great DLC for Fable 2, my biggest worry was that if I missed something I wouldn’t be able to go back and scour every nook and cranny but my fears were unfounded, even when you complete an area you still have complete access to it afterwards, giving you time to fully explore everything this DLC has to offer.

Where Lionhead obviously centred their attention for Knothole Island on an incredibly clever main area they have done so triple wise for the Easter Eggs and Secrets in See the Future. By all means, run through this DLC finding all that you can find but if you are missing Achievements and wonder how the heavens you missed them I’ve found a great site that answers possibly, all the secret content in See the Future.

Fable 2 See the Future at Wiki Cheats

I can’t guarantee that Lionhead haven’t hidden even more diabolical Secrets in See the Future, what I can guarantee is that with Wiki Cheats you will be able to get all the needed Achievements for a maximum Gamer Score. It’s very detailed but I will add a few tips that helped me at the end of this post.

The level design is great and entering the Snowglobe and seeing Oakvale again put me right back to Fable, there were differences of course, but it is reminiscent enough to bring back fond memories. The lighting makes it hard to make things out sometimes, secrets wise that is but then you can always exhaust yourself once you bring the colour back to the village.

There’s clever puzzles to be had to, many aren’t obvious, or are obfuscated by area design, lighting or both and dipping in from one realm to another is a necessity if you want to find everything but fortunately there is none of the timed actions needed in Knothole Island, such as the dreaded 5 Pipe Flit Switches and as such makes going through it a second or 3rd time with different characters a lot less frustrating, but then of course there’s that 1985 points in the Colosseum to get the 3rd Teddy Bear.

Seeing the future makes any frustration getting everything completed worth it though, it ties the story of Fable 2 up very nicely, answering questions posed from the main game and hints at what’s to come in the next instalment in the series which by now gamers keen on Fable will be scouring the net for gossip on daily.

See the Future is a great addition to Fable 2 and although some of the Achievements can be frustrating, they aren’t punishingly so, you get all the opportunities you want and need to get them and at no point does the game lock you out with a game you cannot complete, you are free to adventure, investigate and explore as you want. Below are the tips I promised above, good gaming to you :)

The Colosseum Achievements

It’s best to split the Achievements up in the Colosseum, the actual battle is only about 5 minutes so it won’t take you forever.

The Fowl Player just involves using your Chicken Suit and kicking 5 chickens that appear amidst the mayhem of battle, the announcer will let you know when a chicken has entered and there will be a column of light surrounding the chicken making it much easier to find.

The Multiplicator requires you get a Combat Multiplier of x10, if you concentrate on just this you should do it easily plus get the Ultimate Prize, which is a Royal Sceptre, it may be slow and classed as a Mace but it does a lot of damage and has 4 Augment Slots available. You can increase your Combat Multiplier by activating the various Flit Switches that appear during the course of combat, once the announcer announces there is a Flit Switch present, drop everything and hunt it down.

The Colourist can be pretty difficult, the first two teddies are easy to get, the 3rd requires you score exactly 1985 Points, once you score 1985 Points a plinth will appear on the edge of the Colosseum with the Teddy on it, if you have found the previous 9 Dyes in Murgo’s Items you will activate the Achievement. A good tip is do not activate the Flit Switches and when you get close to the required score save the game and reload if you need to.

The Combatant was the hardest for me but it can be done with a Level 1 Slow Time and every other level filled with Inferno Spells. Slow Time at every opportunity, it will also slow the clock down, use a fast Melee Weapon and a Turret Ranged Weapon (The Daichi and Perforator are perfect for this Achievement) Forget the Flit Switches and Chickens, concentrate on killing everything as fast as you are able to. When you get to the Necromancer save the game, use an area effect spell like Inferno to clear the field, then head straight to him, ranged spells and ranged weapons don’t work very well, he often has plenty of cannon fodder around him to take the focus of your spells and rifle, get in fast with the Daichi and hit him as fast and as often as you can, he will go down pretty easy. Of course, saving the game when the Necromancer appears might be a good idea as he teleports about frequently, frustrating any attempts to get close.

Fable 2 – Knothole Island Review ***WARNING SPOILERS***

Fable 2 – Knothole Island Review ***WARNING SPOILERS***

This is a great little (yes, it’s pretty small size wise but scale wise it’s pretty big) DLC for Fable 2, although the puzzles are pretty easy to work out (nothing on the scale of See the Future) there is one that will have you pulling your hair out, the 5 tube flit switch puzzle, when you are searching for the Ice Totem, everything else is pretty straight forward if you have finished the main game then this DLC shouldn’t impose any difficult combat situations on your shoulders.

What Knothole Island does have is a very tricky area and lots of unique items, like Scar Removal Potions, potions that will make you fat, thin, tall or short, many unique weapons and armour, the Knothole Knight Armour being exceptionally good as it changes with your alignment and the much sort after Tart Boots and Tart Gloves that you can get from a stall trader. More powerful weapons are also available, ones that allow for 4 Augments to be placed on a weapon and more unique Augments themselves are available too.

The game has also removed two of the major limitations players might have had to endure, the first by adding an Augment Remover, no longer will your Augments be permanently bonded to just one weapon, if you find a better weapon more sorted to a rare Augment you can now remove it from that weapon and place it on another. The second bonus is the ability to get your doggy back if you sacrificed your loved ones to bring back to life all those that lost theirs in the construction of the Tattered Spire. All it takes is one innocent sacrifice and the pull of a lever and your loyal companion will be returned to you as good as new!

The area is particularly well made because it has to accommodate 3 separate weather conditions all while allowing you to progress through the 3 shrines in the order the game designers want you to and treasures become available as each weather condition, be it snow and ice, drought and rain allow access to certain parts of the area that other weather conditions do not. This makes Knothole Island pretty compact but they’ve done a great job at hiding the treasures you need for those all important Achievements right under your nose but completely out of sight.

There’s only two main NPC’s you need to contend with, the unromanceable Jessica and the slimy self elected Chieftain of Knothole Island, but the voices are well acted and very colourful, even if Jessica’s dialogue is a bit buggy sometimes. For the added content alone, Knothole Island is very much worth getting in my opinion even if the area itself, though stunning, poses little challenge to a seasoned Fable 2 player.

Fable The Lost Chapters Guide ***WARNING SPOILERS***

Fable The Lost Chapters Guide ***WARNING SPOILERS***

This is a guide to Fable, The Lost Chapters and contains MANY spoilers so be warned before you click :) There’s plenty of information on Fable here, from locations to all the Legendary Weapons in the game (at least those I’ve found), Silver Chests, their contents and how many Silver Keys you need to open each one, Books and their locations, Demon Doors and much more. If you are looking to extend your game further then click, click, click :)

Age and Spell Choice

If you don’t want to end up a 65 year old Hero, you need to level up as little as possible, the spells I used through the game the first time were Slow Time, Divine Fury, Heal Life and Summon. Enflame is actually a much better attack spell than Divine Fury, as you are immune to harm as you punch the floor and not only does the spell do massive amounts of damage but it also knocks all your opponents down.

I tried Force Push late in the game as many swore by it but I didn’t find it all that useful, may be a better spell if you prefer using a bow or crossbow. If you like summoning spells there are 2 to choose from, Summon and Ghost Sword, the former raising an upgradeable undead minion (when it kills a more powerful foe you will always raise an undead version), the latter summoning as many swords as you have levels in the spell. Heal Life is good for those quests where you need to keep NPC’s alive through hostile areas and Slow Time is a fantastic spell which is a massive help when in combat.

As for Skill, I used Accuracy the least but 3 ranks in Guile will grant you the ability to steal from shop keepers and the 4th rank will allow you to pick the lock of doors that are locked.

Infinite Cash in Fable

A fully decked out rented house can bring in quite a lot of cash every 30 minutes, however, if you want to keep your houses but still earn money the best way is to collect all your Health Potions and Will Potions as you go through the game, don’t worry if you will never need to use them, as you go through the game buy them all up at every opportunity, don’t worry, they’re pretty cheap considering how useful they are. When you get a lot of them go to a vendor that will buy and sell them, buy him out of those potions then sell the maximum number of potions in one go you can then buy them back and repeat the process.

When a vendor has none of the items they trade in and that you can sell them, they will pay a marked up price, when they have a lot of something you want they will sell at a reduced rate, hence the possibility to earn plenty of cash if you are willing. This system works even better with gems.

Getting Slim in Fable

Getting slim in Fable takes a little more effort than Fable 2, fortunately it is also free. If you managed to get obese in the game, say if you use food to restore your health or needed to get big to get through that Demon Door in Barrow Fields, the only way you can slim down in Fable is to get involved in lots of melee combat.

Archon’s Shrine is the best place to do this without having to zone out and in again, there is a little path not shown on the map right near where the MOB’s spawn that leads to the stream, once you have defeated these monsters, travel to the stream and on your way back the monsters will respawn again! You can do this as many times as you want.

The Book Collection Quest – Books Needed and Itemised by Area

Probably the hardest Silver Key in the game to get is from the School Teacher, he asks you to collect books for his school children as Lady Grey sold most of the ones they had off. Be warned though, you will have to steal many of these items from people’s homes. Here are a list of the 25 Books you need to get that Silver Key itemised by area.

The Heroes’ Guild

A Love Story
Creatures of Albion Book I
Creatures of Albion Book II
Creatures of Albion Book III

Oakvale

The Oakvale Raid
The Sock Method
The Trials of Aarkan Oakvale

The Temple of Avo

There are 3 rewards that I found by donating to the Temple of Avo:
Reward 1 – 40,000 Gold Pieces – Reduces your age by 5 years (but only once).
Reward 2 – 40,000 Gold Pieces – Title of Paladin.
Reward 3 – 1,000,000 Gold Pieces – The Sentinus Greatmace
The Harbinger is a Legendary Longsword driven into a rock near the Temple of Avo, you need to be fully levelled in your Strength Stats to wrest the weapon from it’s place of rest.

Legendary Weapons

There are many Legendary Weapons in the game, here is the location of those that I have found.
Avo’s Tear – Completing the Hidden Sword Quest after you have defeated Jack of Blades in the main game.
The Harbinger – You need max Strength Stats to pull this sword from the stone in the Temple of Avo Area.
The Sentinus – Donating 1 Million Gold Pieces to the Temple of Avo.
Solus Greatsword – The Arena (Or the Bowerstone North Shop).
Sword of Aeons – Defeat Jack of Blades at the end of the main game.

Darkwood Lake – Silver Key Chest (15 Silver Keys) – Arken’s Crossbow.
Bowerstone Manor – Silver Key Chest (15 Silver Keys) – Katana Hiryu.

15 Silver Keys – Hook Coast – Murren Greataxe.
20 Silver Keys – Heroes’ Guild – Murren Greathammer.
25 Silver Keys – Necropolis – Archon’s Battle Armour.
30 Silver Keys – The Lost Bay – The Avenger and several different gems.

Demon Doors

There are 15 Demon Doors in Fable, they were created to guard treasures and to come up with riddles and games to thwart those who would wish to possess the treasures they guard, here they are listed in alphabetical order along with the requirements for entering and what they guard.

Abandoned Road

This Demon Door wants to see you in 3 sets of suits clothes, to gain access you will need the full sets. First, talk to the Demon Door then change into Bright Plate Armour and talk to the Demon Door again, then change into the Dark Will User set of clothes (you can get these for beating the guardians of the Darkwood Marshes Demon Door) and talk to him again, lastly change into the full set of Bandit Gear and talk to him one last time to gain entry.
Treasure Guarded: Dollmaster’s Mace.

Barrow Fields

This door wants to see a Hero who is VERY fat, obese in fact, if you want to check how big your Hero is, go to your Inventory Screen and it is under Personality. To get big you can eat pretty much anything but I think pies work best.
Treasure Guarded: Will Master’s Elixir.

Darkwood Bordello

This Demon Door wants a real man! Have sex with the prostitutes inside 10 times and he will allow you entry, there is an old woman you can sleep with for 50 gold pieces, making her the cheapest option, I didn’t think of it till now but I wonder what her fade out dialogue is like!
Treasure Guarded: Pimp Hat.

Darkwood Marshes

This door wants you to defeat his guardians, when you are ready accept his challenge and defeat the Hobbes he summons.
Treasure Guarded: Full set of Dark Will User clothes.

Greatwood Caves

This Demon Door wants to see a large Combat Multiplier, luckily for you there’s a big Earth Troll right out front and plenty of Hobbes in the nearby cave to bash!
Treasure Guarded: The Cutlass Bluetane.

Greatwood Gorge

If you’re an evil character you will not have any probs with this door, it will allow you to go right in. If not however, eating Crunchy Chicks or killing NPC’s outside will allow you in.
Treasure Guarded: Wellow’s Pickhammer.

Grey House

To enter this Demon Door you need to have married Lady Grey. The easiest way to do this is to first contact the Prisoner in Bowerstone North who is due to be executed, when you have the proof you need to confront Lady Grey she will appear on the stairs in the Cellar of Grey House, she’ll want you to defeat Thunder first (which also gives you access to another Demon Door, it’s just a way out back to Headsman’s Hill, but in the cave you defeat Thunder is a Mana Augmentation).
Treasure Guarded: Ronok the Axe.

Headsman’s Hill

(Sub Plot Demon Door)
As noted in the Grey House Demon Door above, this opens when you fight Thunder to win the hand of Lady Grey.
Treasure Guarded: None, but there is a Mana Augmentation in the cave you defeat Thunder.

Heroe’s Guild

This is the easiest or most difficult Demon Door to open, easy if you’ve already worked it out or reading this now, all you need do is turn the lamp that you got on your graduation on and talk to the door, that’s it :)
Treasure Guarded: Elixir of Life. Book (Making Friends). Howl Tattoo. Book of Spells.

Knothole Glade

All you have to do is strike the Demon Door hard enough with your bow to enter :)
Treasure Guarded: Elixir of Life.

Lookout Point

(Plot Demon Door)
This Demon Door will only activate and allow you through at the end of the main game, when you have beaten Jack of Blades
Treasure Guarded: Beat the mini game to free the Prophets and win the Fire Heart so you can continue on to the Northern Wastes

Lychfield Graveyard

(Plot Demon Door)
You are required to find the 4 pieces of Nostro’s Armour that are in the area.
Treasure Guarded: Passage onwards so you can rescue your mother.

Necropolis

This Demon Door is best used last when you have looted all 12 Silver Chests as it will want any and all Silver Keys you have on you, even losing 1 Silver Key will prevent you from getting The Avenger and several different gems which are in a Silver Chest in the Lost Bay.
Treasure Guarded: The Bereaver (The best weapon in the game I think).

Rose Cottage

This door will open once you give him a Red Rose :)
Treasure Guarded: Full Set of Bright Will User’s Clothes.

Witchwood Stones

(Plot Demon Door)
Spelling out H I T S by striking these stones in the right order will grant you access to the archeologist, furthering the plot.
Treasure Guarded: The Archeologist (Plot), and several loot items:
Misc Items – Sapphire, Ruby, Red Meat, Chainmail Leggings, Resurrection Phial.
Howl Tattoo – Value 62, Attractiveness -51, Scariness +51, Alignment Modifier 0.
Books – Creatures of Albion Book I, The Sock Method, A Love Story.
Silver Chest – Health Augmentation.

Fable The Lost Chapters Review

Fable The Lost Chapters Review

It may be getting dated and technically, Fable 2 may blow it out of the water but Fable The Lost Chapters is a VERY solid game indeed. So solid in fact that many of what you will see in Fable was felt worthy of making it into Fable 2 by Lionhead and improved upon. The gameplay such as combat, spells, the way you interact with the game will be very familiar as will the games elements, Silver Chests, Legendary Weapons, Easter Eggs, Hero Dolls, Demon Doors and much much more.

The story starts off in a similar fashion too, a tragic loss as a child, introduction to the guild, quests, side quests and many roleplay elements such as buying homes, marrying, as well as plenty of choices between good and evil, choices, which, although they won’t affect the canon story, affect your game very much. There’s also a whole host of history built into the Fable Fantasy and what I loved most about Fable that was missing from Fable 2 was the Book Quest, not the quest itself but the way the NPC’s told the story held in the books if you brought the books to them.

The main difference when you get into combat are the Combat Multipliers and the Mana bar, which were left out in Fable 2 and a larger variety of spells in which you can utilise. The Combat Multiplier multiplies the experience you receive for combat, hit often and use flourishes and your multiplier will rise too, along with the experience you receive, get hit and your combat multiplier goes down, it also gradually decreases the longer you are out of combat. The Mana bar and the spell selection were “optimised” for Fable 2, there’s less spells but you can use each spell in 2 ways, for example, in Fable 2 Inferno does the job of Enflame and Fireball in Fable and so on. Fable also allows you to have access to many more spells than Fable 2, you use a single button to cycle through all the spells you have access to and their places can be changed via the games options. Don’t worry about your mana bar dropping fast when you cast spells in Fable, mana is replenished slowly over time and you can instantly increase it back up with Will Potions which are cheap and plentiful and as with most RPG’s your ability to cast more magic and more powerful versions of each spell can be increased through the experience system.

The experience system is similar in mechanics in Fable as it is in Fable 2, kill opponents with Will Spells and you get more Will Experience, enabling you to increase your magical might, however, unlike Fable 2, with Fable you can only level up at the Heroes Guild and although you can undo a level of something if you have just levelled, once you leave the Level Up Green Portal you’re stuck with whatever you chose for good. Also, it should be noted, that the more you level up, the older you get, it is odd how in 20 game days you can age 60 years, whereas Theresa, your sister, remains very much a child throughout the game, in fact none of the characters in the game age but you.

You learn the basics of the game at a leisurely pace at the Heroes Guild and as you grow up into a young adult there are quests to be had as well as training, most of which you can skip if you choose to do so. When you graduate the game it may feel like the game is rail roading you to a certain extent but as you progress you gain more and more control of what you do and when you do it and of course, there’s treasure out there just waiting to be found!

Unlike Fable 2 in Fable there is no cute doggy to shower attention on and who will sniff out those awkwardly hidden chests throughout the realm and though you can wade in some water, you cannot swim or dive for treasure as in the second game. You are able to buy a fishing rod and spade, ripples in ponds and rivers denote treasure of some sort and if you keep an eye on the bottom left corner of your screen, when you walk over buried treasure, a spade icon will appear.

The area design for Fable is a lot smaller than Fable 2, you have to navigate your way through many smaller areas instead of Fable 2′s wide open spaces, which makes it a lot easier to keep your bearings in Fable and once you have travelled to areas and discovered a Cullis Gates you can Teleport to them instantly using your Guild Seal instead of travel taking days or hours in Fable 2. I also prefer the map the in game map in Fable, right click on the right toggle button and it zooms in showing you where the exits to the area are and where they lead to.

There’s a lot of great characters in Fable 2 but Theresa and Jack of Blades are by far my favourite. Jack of Blades is an excellent character and looks great, one of the best NPC’s I have come across for a while, the game uses several means to give you story on Jack, not least Jack himself as he will from a certain point converse directly to you through ways he has available, there is story dripping from his every pore and Lionhead have done their best to use him to the greatest effect. Theresa is an enigmatic non judgemental guardian of destiny and never truly seems to lose her innocence throughout the game, even though she has much to be bitter about (past, present and future) and much that would twist many souls into outright evil. Both voices for Theresa and Jack are incredible, well acted and increase the immersive feel of the game immensely.

The graphics of the game is dated compared to the second instalment in the series, while at the same time still retains mucho charm and just because they are dated in some areas, doesn’t mean that there are not cool elements in the game, I found myself thinking on many occasions, “Wow, that’s cool!” and of course, being a Fable title, it has charm built in.

NWN Dragon Wallpapers

NWN Dragon Wallpapers

Dragons have formed a memorable part of Neverwinter Nights since it was released, however, apart from the odd encounter such as Klauth the dreaded evil red dragon and Ma’fel’no’sei’kedeh’naar aka Winter Fang that you encounter in the snowglobe, both in the Official Campaign that were pretty hard to defeat for most people, despite each having a way for the PC to weaken each dragon, most of the dragons in NWN are pretty weak, a far cry from the Baldur’s Gate 2 days when a dragon formed the pinnacle of epic battles that required an entire party, good preparation and good tactics to defeat. Infinite Dungeons (Originally available from http://store.bioware.com/products/infinitedungeons.html) compounded this problem as did other module builders when you would offer come across several various dragons who were little better than guard dogs, preventing you from sneaking past or just plain cannon fodder for a PC’s spell or sword.

Here’s a couple of Neverwinter Night’s Dragon Wallpapers for you to enjoy and place on your desktop :)
